Monument Bank App not working

I am concerned that having opened a savings account with APP-based Monument Bank only yesterday and depositing their high mimimum deposit their APP is already down and so nothing can be viewed or actioned. Their phone lines, web chat etc were unavailable.  I noticed today another post on Reddit that this happened before, pity I did not read this yesterday before opening an acount with them. With no notification of customers I think this is worrying and poor. I will transfer my funds straight out again once it is back up.

    Yes I opened an account last week. I've tried to pay in to a savings account a couple of times unsuccessfully. Today I was told that my payment "may not have gone through" and to check in a couple of hours to see if it had, and if not, to try again. This is rubbish. If it doesn't get straight very quickly I will be closing the account. If it can't even take a payment in a quick and simple way, what hope is there for everything else?

    Temporary problems can happen with any app and any bank. I made a large 5 figure deposit into my new Monument Bank account yesterday. It was credited instantly and I have no complaints.I have just checked my account again, all is working fine for me. 

    When did you get the "may not have gone through" message? Was it from your current account from which you initiated the payment? If so, this could be a problem with your current account or with the Faster Payment infrastructure, not necessarily a Monument Bank issue. Hopefully whatever the problems were for you earlier have now been resolved.
  • My experience today was same as friolento.

    Smooth deposit. Messages to say deposit received. No issues.
