can you contact PIP when your illness has become a lot worse, and you are now a pensioner ?

what happens when you are already on the standard rate PIP  but am now a pensioner, who has more severe illness diagnosed ?

    Daily Living component can be increased if currently receiving standard rate, Mobility cannot start or be increased after state pension age.
