Wi-Fi weak security?

We have a router in our house plus a BT mesh. My iPad reports that the BT mesh security is weak, as it is WEP. I would change it immediately if I thought that were true, but:
My android phone reports that the BT mesh security is WPA.
The spec for the BT mesh says WPA.
The BT mesh has two SSiDs. There’s the main one, which the iPad complains is weak security. And there’s a guest account, which the ipad is happy with.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Does the BT mesh not use the same password as the main router?0

If it really is WEP then you need to change that ASAP. WEP is such an outdated and poor security standard that it’s essentially useless.Anyone with visibility of your SSID can obtain your WEP key in a matter of seconds with the right software.
WPA-2 personal as a minimum these days.1 -
If you have multiple SSIDs it’s not really a properly configured mesh. I have a 3 device mesh, only a single SSID for the whole house.1

I told iOS to forget the mesh network, and I then rejoined it a few seconds later, and now iOS is perfectly happy with it. I guess it is just a weird bug in the OS?
