Trust account for 17 year old daughter

My children’s father has recently passed (we have not been together for years) as the children are his only next of kin and there was will I have been dealing with the estate. His employer has informed that there was death cover and they are asking me to open up a trust account for my daughter who is 17 ( my son has recently turned 18 so they are paying him directly) I’m struggling to find an account provider for my daughter, one that I can open for her with her being 17 and that will allow for more than £50,000. I’m not sure if I need to use a solicitor either? I’ve managed to do everything so far myself and reluctant to have to use a solicitor to be honest. Any advice?

Trust accounts are a pain, how far is your daughter away from her 18th birthday? Would the pension company delay payment until her birthday? You certainly should not need a solicitor.0
