Car Insurance.

A friend had an accident just 2 days before her car insurance cover expired. She has a different policy provider for her renewal and a deposit has been paid for a monthly payment. What does she have to do now? Will her insurance premium go up straight away with her already agreed policy with the new insurance provider if she tells them?
Thank you.

She needs to inform the new insurer of the incident. What impact it will have will depend on the nature of the incident and her background before this incident but yes they can adjust the premium given the pre-inception change in circumstancesniiyeb said:A friend had an accident just 2 days before her car insurance cover expired. It depends on the terms of her policy, but I suspect she will need to inform them.0
