So you're using about 1925kWh/yr of electricity, and 7000kWh/yr of gas.
The new tariff will save you about £20 a year on electricity but will cost an extra £45 a year for gas.
I think EON Next don't charge exit fees if you switch tariffs without switching supplier? If so, I'd suggest taking the new fix but keeping an eye open in case they launch a cheaper one in the next few months. You'll get 12 months peace of mind in case any world leader does anything stupid and upsets the energy markets.

I took a chance and changed to this 16 months tariff a few days ago, from a different E.on fix. Only slightly more expensive.
As QrizB has written, there are usually no fees for an E.on to E.on tariff switch. Also, as they wrote, if things change and there's a more advantageous E.on tariff, in future, then it should be possible to switch without any fees.

Eon Next 15 and 16 Month fixed rates reflect standing charges rates due to take effect on 1 April for SVR Tariffs, some regions significantly cheaper for electricity, no apparent uptick in unit rate.

North East 15p+ per day less.
