have a question about credit file ..we applied for a mortgage and i paid a loan off prior to application, didn’t declare as didn’t think - have since contacted the lender and told them and gave evidence paid off - it’s still on my file even though says updated today 1st March! the building society has done valuation but not had offer yet and i can’t see a hard search on my file ! so i presume its not been underwritten yet…my query is what i see on mse credit file what a lender would see ?? i do have evidence paid off the loan but its nerving me a bit

How many times are you going to ask the same question?
You are now in double digit threads asking basically the same thing.1 -

i have severe ocd and a little anxiety - but thanks for pointing this out to others

It is a weekend, what non-paying consumers see usually has elements of delays. The real time information is seen by lenders when they do soft or hard searches, but the real time information is still subject to reporting dates and processing times, as has been explained on your other threads.Jo1923 said:today according to my monzo credit section, it said file updates 1st march - yet its still showing - that was my pointJo1923 said:i have severe ocd and a little anxiety - but thanks for pointing this out to others

It just means that the hard search is not showing yet, a hard search has nothing to do with being underwritten, it is underwritten when it is granted, not applied for.Jo1923 said:the building society has done valuation but not had offer yet and i can’t see a hard search on my file ! so i presume its not been underwritten yetJo1923 said:my query is what i see on mse credit file what a lender would see ??
