I have not posted in wrong forum, if I have then many others have to but you just want to highlight mine dont you at least I highlight others mistakes too and not just one post. Again my post is not in the wrong forum.

Your post clearly is here to provoke me. I wont give you the satisfaction you so want. As you say "so as not to waste our time!!", why are you wasting your time responding you cant even follow your own advice can you?

I wont respond here to you as it will only get you to post more as you seem to want to antagonise me. All I will say is you could argue with yourself. you seem to be a person who wants the last word anyhow, so I give you that pleasure.

I have often wondered myself where questions should be asked as there is no dedicated board I can see..

It would be great if you could enlighten us all so that from now on all questions like this can now be directed to a board that deals with them..

I know what there motives are as I said. It is not clear what belongs here, obviously some posts like grabbits (quick deals) motoring, holidays etc do belong in own sections.

My 1st post was about buying a item from Amazon and asking about the price pledge that they may reduce goods if seen else where, some shops do this, this is after all a shopping question "This board is for all your shopping and bargain tips!!" !

Never got a answer and decided anyhow to wait

To help get this thread back on topic... checked the amazon site and couldn't find anything but the Philips item you want is actually sold through Pixmania (via the Amazon site)... so Amazon would not price match it I wouldn't have thought... You could always try calling Pixmania and seeing if they will price match (although items usually need to be in stock for most price matching guarantees)...

And if AMAZON do a price promise to refund then isnt finding that out a SHOPPING AND BARGAIN TIP as it will benefit others as well???

I dont know if AMAZON do the price match as I cant see it on thier site but I have been using AMAZON a lot to get pricematched stuff from PC WORLD.

Thanks. I ordered two from Dixons but there was an issue with there billing which for some strange reason accepted my debit card once on the purchasing page then next on a Abbey National extra security page but it didnt go through. When I managed to get hold of Dixons they said it was still in my basket but when I did it again it was out of stock. I know Empire direct have them in stocky cheaper than Amazon. However I have decided to hold off now anyhow

Amazon use to do it althgough it never worked for me, I emailed them once saying I can get camera cheaper can you match it but never got a reply, but there was an option like that as I mentioned in 1st post

The original post was asking a question that could also have led to people being able to get goods at reduced prices from AMAZON had the information been verified, so therefore comes under the heading of SHOPPING AND BARGAIN TIPS as it would have been a tip that AMAZON would pricematch stores for things that you might not be able to get locally if your store was out of stock therefore saving money. This was not an out and out WHERE CAN I GET THE CHEAPEST or IS THIS THE CHEAPEST post.

Again WHERE WOULD YOU HAVE POSTED THIS..

You cannot come here and slate someone for posting on the wrong board if you cant tell them where it should go.

As I said my post is not the wrong place there are many other threads in this shopndrop that could also be classed as wrong forum, but you want to be judgemental on me. The particularly forum is for none grabbits and advice on shopping etc
