Good morning ( just) from Mehefinland The sun 2 days on the trot.. must be a miracle. Blooming cold and frosty first thing though. Spent a fair chunk of yesterday on a ladder trying to get the dead ivy off the wall in preparation for painting when it's warm enough. It sticks like glue - and I will need to go over it all again with a stiff brush before the job gets started.
Doing a load of council work ( which I hadn't planned on) and that is very time consuming. Never mind , it keeps me off the streets lol. Would have been Dawn's birthday tomorrow and I had planned to have a quiet day, but a chance meeting in the village with one of our oldest friends has changed that. So tomorrow evening we are having our traditional Chinese takeaway to remember her by. I must admit I have mixed feelings, but they were quite insistent that it's what we always did, so I agreed. I don't see the point in upsetting some of our oldest friends by being obstinate.
So its back to the wall this afternoon after the remaining chores are done up the field. Hugs and spoons as always , hope the poodles are getting better. The sight of the sun is a cheerer upper.
