1. This prize draw (the "promotion") is only open to legal residents of the uk.  Any employees or agents of either the promoter and/or any company connected with the production or distribution of this promotion, as well as any members of their immediate family (e.g., spouse, parent, child, sibling) and persons living in the same household as them, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter this promotion.
2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request.  By entering the promotion, you are deemed to accept and be bound by these terms and conditions.
3. Enter between 00:01 on saturday, march 1, 2025 and 23:59 on friday, march 28, 2025 inclusive (“promotion period”).
4. Prize details 

1. Two (2) prizes are offered, and each prize is as follows:  a seven-night (7) all-inclusive holiday for two (2) adults (aged 18 and over) at sandals grenada resort and spa. Each prize includes accommodation in one luxury (lead in) room with a king size bed (“sandals grenada accommodations”) subject to availability and selected blackout dates and two (2) economy class return flights from london (“round trip flights”) sandals grenada accommodations, round trip flights and spending money (collectively the “prize package”)
2. There will be two (2) separate prize winners who will each win one prize package. Prize winners and their travel companions must all be over 18 and each winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary. 
3. The sandals grenada accommodations are inclusive of all meals, unlimited premium beverages, daily and nightly entertainment, an array of land and water sports activities, including scuba diving (for certified divers), snorkelling, wi-fi in all rooms and public areas, resort gratuities, resort taxes and resort transfers to and from the designated resort’s airport. Sandals resorts are designed for couples and all accommodations include one king size bed. Any prize values are an approximate value only based on select travel dates.
4. The prize package excludes: domestic transfers, including any internal flights or transportation to london, spending money above the amount indicated in the prize package, telephone calls, red lane® spa treatments and services, specialty dining, tours & excursions, inter-island transportation, scuba certification courses, island departure taxes and purchases made at the sandals resorts specialty shops. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the prize package description, including but not limited to, all ground transportation (outside of local airport transfers in the caribbean), travel insurance, passenger tariffs or duties, airline fees, baggage fees, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees and taxes. Holiday insurance, visas and esta’s are not included and must be purchased before travel, if required.
5. Passports are required for international travel and must have at least six months validity from when the trip finishes (i.e. The date the winner and their travel companion travel home).
6. Prizes cannot be taken during peak seasons (easter, july, august, december and new year) and cannot be confirmed until 90 days prior to departure. Blackout dates and restrictions apply. Sandals resorts’ blackout dates include but are not limited to 17th april – 4th may 2025, 1st – 7th july 2025, 24th november – 30th november 2025, 21st-31st december 2025, 1st – 3rd january 2026, 13th – 21st february 2026, 7th – 15th march 2026, 29th march – 31stmarch 2026. Once dates are confirmed there will be an administration fee for any changes made to the reservations. This fee varies in accordance with the airline. 
7. Each prize winner must redeem their prize package before 31st march 2026.
8. Sandals grenada accommodations and roundtrip flights  are strictly non-transferable; no cash alternative is available, and cannot be redeemed for cash. If either of the two prize package winners are unable to redeem their prize package within the specified time, then their respective prize package will be forfeited. 
9. Sandals resorts reserves the right to relocate either of the two prize package winners from the stated resort to an alternative sandals resort if rooms become unavailable for the travel dates booked due to any circumstance beyond their control. Sandals resorts further reserves the right to substitute the selected resort for another resort in the selected resort’s chain in a similar category based on availability of space for the secured travel dates, and to change dates without prior notice for any circumstance(s) beyond the selected resort’s control and if such circumstance(s) so require. The terms and conditions agreed to shall apply with equal applicability to any resort, which is the subject of substitution or deviation.  Neither unique vacations (uk) ltd., unique caribbean holidays ltd, nor sandals resorts shall be liable for any claim made whatsoever, including but not limited to loss, compensation, or refund by reason of such substitution or deviation.

Winners 

1. The winners will be selected in a random draw, conducted by a computer process that produces verifiably random results, from all eligible entries, held on monday, march 31, 2025. 
2. The winners will be notified by the promoter by email or telephone within one week of this date and will be given details of how to accept their prize.  Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the provisional winners, but it is each winner’s responsibility to monitor their email address (including spam folder) failure by the winners to accept the prize in the manner specified within 7 of the promoter's email will make any claim invalid and the promoter will then select another winner using the same random process. 
3. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize package does not include travel/transportation, accommodation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the promoter nor any provider of any part of the prize package will be responsible for any such costs.
4. Gifts, prizes and other promotional items are not transferable, may not be re-sold and are subject to availability. The promoter reserves the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any such gift, prize or item with a gift, prize or item of equal or greater value.
5. By entering the promotion, each entrant acknowledges that in the event of a win, their surname and county of residence may be disclosed to persons enquiring, where permitted by law. Provided no objection is received from the winners, a winners list will be made available by the promoter 4 weeks after the end of the promotion period, for a period of 8 weeks. Without prejudice, the promoter will provide winner information to the advertising standards authority when requested by them.
6. Entrants agree to provide reasonable cooperation to allow the promoter to use the name and/or likeness of the winner for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this promotion including but not limited to publication of the winner's name and photograph on the promoter’s websites.  In addition, by submitting an entry and in consideration of the promoter granting a right to enter the promotion, entrants agree to grant the promoter a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to any materials contained in the entry (including but not limited to text, images or video materials) (the “materials”) worldwide and/or to incorporate the materials in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in the materials. By submitting materials to the competition, an entrant: 
   • Warrants that the materials are its own original work and that it has the right to make them available for all the purposes specified above; that it does not infringe any law; that it is not obscene or libellous; and that it does not violate the rights of any third party;

As the prize provider and administrator of the prize for redemption purposes shall be subject to our privacy policy located at www.sandals.co.uk/general/privacy/.  The prize provider will only use the personal data of the two prize winners and their travel companions for the purposes of administrating the prize redemption, unless the prize winners and their travel companions provide express consent signifying their agreement to any other processing or use of their personal data.  For prize redemption purposes the personal data collected from the prize winners and travel companions will be shared with the prize provider’s reservations affiliate and the resort which are both located outside of the united kingdom. 
5. Employees and their immediate families of unique caribbean holidays (uk) ltd and their associated agencies or affiliated companies are not eligible to enter to win.

1. The determination and decision of the promoter on all matters shall be final and no promotional correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
2. The promoter reserves the right in its reasonable discretion: 
   • To disqualify any claimant, competitor or nominee whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct;
   • To declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) on any website of the promoter, any game cards and/or other printed materials) or where there has been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims;
   • To add to or to waive any rules on reasonable notice; and/or,
   • To cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond the promoter's reasonable control.
3. No entries will be accepted in bulk, from agents or third parties.

7. The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion should virus, bugs, tampering, fraud or other causes beyond the reasonable control of the promoter corrupt or hinder the administration, security or proper play of the promotion.
8. If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part that part shall be severed from the remainder of the provisions and the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected.
9. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of england and wales and any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of england and wales, except that residents of scotland may also bring proceedings in the scottish courts.

The provider of the grenada accommodations and the roundtrip flights portion of the prize package for redemption purposes only is:unique caribbean holidays (uk) ltd (an affiliate of the worldwide representative for sandals resorts), 2nd floor, nucleus house, 2 lower mortlake rd, richmond tw9 2ja (registered company number 04122639). The prize promoter and administrator is: associated newspapers, northcliffe house, 2 derry street, london w8 5tt (registered company number: 084121).
2. Health and safety: sandals resorts reserves the right to implement or modify health protocols, policies and procedures at any time as needed, in keeping with public health guidance and applicable law.
3. Guests are responsible for checking the travel and entry protocols for the destination that they are travelling to before they depart and ensuring that they fully understand and comply with any such protocols. For example, some destinations may require all guests to be fully vaccinated and/or to obtain a negative pcr covid-19 test a certain number of days pre-travel and post travel, to return to your original destination. Please visit the uk foreign commonwealth and development office (“fcdo”) website before travel and check the official government website for the country you’re visiting for all pre and post travel protocols. Unique caribbean holidays limited and sandals resorts international ltd. Shall not be responsible for any additional costs incurred for any required test or any other pre-travel or post-travel requirements. 
4. Compliance with government entities: the unique group, and sandals resorts and/or any of its related entities shall have the right to comply with any and all orders, recommendations, or directions whatsoever given by any government entity or by persons purporting to act with such authority, and such compliance shall not be deemed a breach of any agreement or any agreement entitling the guests to assert any claim for liability, compensation or refund.
5. For competition winner trips inclusive of flights paid for by unique caribbean holidays ltd.  Any amendments and/or cancellation of a competition prize will be made in line with current travel policies at the time that the amendment and/or cancellation is made.  If the fcdo advises against travel to the destination that either of the two prize package winners is due to travel to, or if the destination closes its borders to commercial flights, or if flights are cancelled by the airline or if the entry protocols in the destination requires guests to quarantine in room, then either of these trips may be cancelled by unique caribbean holidays ltd. If a guest cancels their trip without a valid reason, unique caribbean holidays ltd. Reserves the right to charge the guest for any costs incurred as a result of the cancellation.  
6. All guests are required to provide evidence of comprehensive travel insurance before reservations are made for travel.  Unique caribbean holidays limited and sandals resorts will not provide comprehensive travel insurance.
7. Class action waiver: this section provides for the exclusive resolution of disputes through individual legal action and supersedes any law entitling guest to participate in a class action. This class action waiver precludes guest from participating in or being represented in any class or representative action regarding any claim brought as a result of any agreement to award the prize and/or as a result of the acceptance and/or utilization of the prize. Even if applicable law provides otherwise, guest agrees that any arbitration or lawsuit against any entity under the unique group and/or beaches resorts whatsoever shall be litigated by guest individually and not as a member of any class or as part of a class action, and guest expressly agrees to waive authority to arbitrate claims on a class action basis. If guest's claim is subject to legal proceeding under foreign selection and choice of law provisions of the accommodations, amenities, transportation and other products or services terms and conditions (available here: www.sandals.com/terms-conditions/), the guest further agrees and acknowledges that the class action waiver is material and essential to the proceeding of any disputes between the parties and is non-severable from the agreement to any claims herein. The validity and effect of this class action waiver may be determined only by a judge or court of law. Guest agrees that this section shall not be severable under any circumstances from the forum selection and choice of law provision set forth in the terms and conditions. Guest agrees that the parties referenced in foreign selection and choice of law provisions of the terms and conditions that may be the subject of any claim by guest can receive immediate judicial assistance to enforce this class action waiver.
