Query about Inlet Hose for new Hotpoint Dishwasher - genuine or not?

Options

Hello, I’d be grateful if anyone can help with either of the 2 following questions or point me in the right direction for an answer.  So far my detective work has failed (results of my detective work at the end of this post).

I had a new Hotpoint Dishwasher Model H71 HP42 L UK installed Feb 2024 (no problems there).

(1)  I’m trying to establish if the 1.5m grey cold-water inlet hose (shown in the pictures below & to which my new dishwasher was connected in Feb 2024) is actually the genuine inlet hose that is shipped as standard with new Hotpoint Dishwashers.

Are you able to confirm? (Maybe you have a new Hotpoint Dishwasher installed in the last year & can check the markings on the hose or you install Hotpoint dishwashers and are familiar with the inlet hoses used by Hotpoint).

(2)  Do the Numbers/Lettering along the length of the hose help identify if the hose is the type shipped with new Hotpoint dishwashers?   I was hoping A4 02 24 might be helpful.

 Numbers/Lettering along the length of the hose:

A4 02 24 EN 61770 TP REFLEX PL 10 BAR 70°C MAX 5R 105 – WRAS

A4 02 24 EN 61770 TP REFLEX PL 10 BAR 70°C MAX 5R 105 – WRAS

My research so far:

Using Google, I’ve found the following so far, which may or may not be correct.  I’ve not found anything about A4 02 24 or 5R 105

  •  A4 02 24 -> I do not know what this signifies
  • EN 61770-> Hose Set
  • TP Reflex -> Manufacturer based in Italy
  • PL 10 -> Tube Fitting
  • BAR 70°C MAX -> Burst Pressure
  • 5R 105 -> I do not know what this signifies
  • WRAX -> drinking water compliance

 I did email the manufacturer TP Reflex in Italy to see if they can help.  However, they’ve not replied - either my dodgy Italian is not helping, or they are not interested.

I’ve also looked online to see if there is a dictionary of dishwasher hose terms – but not found one yet.

I have tried Hotpoint to see if they could help but I’ve not received a reply.

Thank you for any feedback.  It would be much appreciated to hopefully resolve an issue.

    Quite likely a genuine hose.
    From the numbers on the hose, it is -
    • Certified to EN 61770
    • Max pressure, 10 Bar
    • Max water temperature, 70°C
    In all, more than adequate for a hose plumbed in to a domestic cold water system.
    If I were to open up my gas boiler, I would find parts from a multitude of manufacturers - Pump from Grundfos, fan from Papst, and so on. Doesn't affect the warranty in the slightest, same for a dishwasher that has a hose sourced from an Italian manufacturer.

    Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

    What does the other end of it look like or is it permanently attached to the machine?

    What is your motivation for asking about the hose?

    Did you have a dishwasher there before? Its a fairly basic hose, probably inline what you'd expect with Hotpoint, doesn't have an auto stop box on it which you often see these days but looking at the install paper it doesn't show one either nor does it talk about having it the right way round which those that do do. It could be the pipe for the old machine, if there was one, or the new machine. It won't make any difference

    The hose would not be "genuine" Hotpoint anyway, it will be a generic hose used by lots of different machine manufacturers and could differ between batches of machines. I have got a few hoses and they all seem to be marked week / year.

    "Hotpoint" dishwashers come from any number of factories in any number of countries, they'll all use their favourite hose supplier.
