Sky sports recording

Options
Good afternoon all,

We are currently looking to change our broadband and TV provider,  currently with Sky and we are looking at a Virgin Media package.
Question is, if we have Sky sports with Virgin Media, will we be able to record the football as we do now on the Sky Q box, on a TV recorder box such as a Manhatten or Humax box, or will it be like Now TV, where you can only watch football live?
Many thanks

    Yes, you can record football.
Virgin has the 365 box, which can record upto 6 channels at a time.

Be aware the TV360 box has received a great deal of criticism.  Apparently it is no where near as good as the Tivo boxes.  In theory they will do what you want.  Have a look at the VM forum.

    Kind Regards,

On the VM forum, nothing to do with MSE.

We're with Virgin Media and have a Tivo box. We record live sport no problem. Virign are pushing the 360 box (updating the Tivo Box), and from what I've seen the criticism is more around storage (cloud versus physical), and functions like series record - it will record a series but doesn't remember when the next series comes around. Anyway, I'm resisting the change for now.
