Buying a Motability car at end of lease

Just to make people aware you can’t extend your lease if your car is over 20,000 miles. Also now you are unable to buy the car at the end of the lease either. I have 7 months left and been looking and between the AD payment and the style and setup of the car there is nothing that suites what I need. I thought I would ask those questions. To which I was told no and no if you want to buy the car you need to speak to the dealership and see if they will sell you the car. I hope this helps anyone close to the end of your 3 years. Information was found out today and Monday this week.

Have you checked your online account? I've just extended my lease a couple of weeks ago. It was just a drop down box to say I wish to extend for 2 years. No mention of mileage.
