Car lease/finance with no credit check?

I have terrible credit. But I desperately need a car. I’m a good earner but just have a poor history. I’ve seen a few places that claim you can get a car with no credit check but does anyone have any actual experience and recommendations?

Any of the Dealers offering guaranteed credit will still do a credit check and the interest rates will be punitive.  It is a route to avoid if at all possible.

Why do you desperately need a car?
Can you get by for an initial period on foot / pushbike / public transport plus the occasional Uber?
Do you have a car at present that can keep you going for a period?
If you are a good earner and could afford (and actually make) the monthly repayments on a new car, could you save those payment for a few months and then buy a car cash from those saved monthly payments?

I am sure a lot more advice can be given that is more specific, but only if more information is shared in the first place.

    No, to both questions.

They will be like "over 50s life insurance", the last option for the desperate that come with exceptionally high costs and little tolerance. Sort of thing you should avoid until other methods have already failed and you absolutely have no other options.

Why do you have "terrible credit" ?  Not wishing to sound judgemental, but that statement in itself gives the impression that taking on further credit may not be the wisest option.
But that aside, any genuine reputable finance provider will perform a credit check, there's no getting away from it.  I agree with previous comments - from the information you've supplied, by far the most prudent course of action would be to make do for a few months and save up, if that's at all a feasible option for you.
