Extra long rotary airer cover....

I was not sure which forum this is best in, so here goes...
I have installed a rotary airer in my garden, leaving the metal ground spike set in Postcrete. The ground spike stands several inches proud of the gravel, so that gravel will not fall in the spike.
Of course, I dug a hole, knocked the spike in the earth, then filled the space with Postcrete.
The spikes, however, do not allow drainage at the criss-crossed bottoms and the spike keeps filling with water.
In order for me to leave the airer in place, covered, do you know of anywhere that sells extra long covers?
The covers I have seen do not go right down to the ground.

Can you put waterproof tape around the join of the groundspike and the pole?0

I thought of that, but the pole has to rotate, leaving a gap for water to get in.0

I wondered if there is a waterproof skirt for the pole.0

You can get rotary line covers that reach to the ground, I have bought them. Measure the top of the line to the ground and search google.0

Even if you buy a full length cover water could still get in - what if it unexpectedly rains whilst clothes are drying?
You could fit the suggested juice bottle cover to the rotary airer pole so that it's fixed / sealed on the pole and rotates with that, going over but not fixed to the spike - this should keep water out - and then add a full length cover.1 -

Normally it's the head of the rotary airer that turns, not the whole thing.0
