mortgage application help

so I'm 7 days since putting application in with leek utd - valuation was done yesterday - post application I submitted some evidence that a loan was paid off as I noted was still on credit file - I informed the mortgage advisor who said would pass on, heard nothing since and having major anxiety over the waiting - there is no hard search from leek utd yet on my file ? does that indicate they not started looking at my credit file yet ?
