PCP deal

Options
12 months ago I received a text for a new electric car deal for £199 per month.  I live in a mid terrace house with no way to have an EV charger fitted.  However is was working 3 miles from my home and my mileage was not much.  I was charging the car once per week.
Since then due to circumstances beyond my control I had to move job.  I now work on the road and charge the car every day or every other day.  Which is costing a lot.  The car itself is freezing cold as there is no heat pump and I cannot put the heating on as the miles decline. The clock has been displaying the wrong time since buying and this is the 3rd time this has tried to be fixed.  The wireless charger also is sporadic sometimes it works other times it’s off. The windows in the car when raining and it’s dark and you wind them down the rain does not clear meaning I have to turn out of junctions with the windows down just to see.
I’ve complained to the finance company and nothing I can only go to the ombudsman.
I will need to wait until next April to give the car  back.  The excess miles which the finance company cannot change due to my circumstances will probably cost me £2-3k extra.
I’ve considered purchasing another car but don’t see why a £42k car should sit there and I should have to pay 2 road tax and 2 lots of car insurance.
I would be grateful for any help with this situation I am in I’ve had many new cars in my lifetime and never been so unhappy and stuck in this situation as this one.  It’s the most expensive car I have driven and the worst car.
Please help me! Much appreciated.

So the only problems with the car is the clock does not show the correct time and the wireless charger is sporadic? I don’t think windows in general are meant to be cleared by lowering them, and not clearing them may be a feature on this car and not a fault. I would have thought those two items are warranty items and should be fixed by the dealer.

Most windows these days you need to press on them to clear any water on the outside. Stops them getting scratched.

If the rain isn't cleared when the windows go up and down its just the rubber seal that needs pushing back towards the window.  A finger or any blunt instrument run along the seal while the window is down will do the job.  I'd also apply 2-3 coats of Rainex to side windows, rain will then run and be blown off.

I'd alao not get paranoid about mileage loss when the heater is on.  The heat pump will only activate to maintain the temperature, it is not on all the time.

If I was you I would be looking at P/X here.
Clearly the car you have does not suit your current needs. So start looking around & see what sort of value you will get to change car.

A £42k car for under £200/month what is it? Wow!  Or did you pay a 50% deposit up front?

    What car is it?
You can use the heaters and air con just like a normal car they use some electric but not enough for you to put yourself through some sort of SAS survival course each time you use the car.
Tesla rapid chargers with a subscription offer some of the best rates for charging where are you based?

    What is it?

As it’s a finance deal and not a lease, you are free to sell/trade the car anytime you like. Get a settlement figure from the finance company of what you have to pay today to clear all the finance. Then ring around and check online brokers (like webuyanycar) to get a sense of its current trade in value.

If the settlement is the same or higher than the current value, then simply trade it in and settle the finance.

What £42k EV does not come with an heat pump?
The faults you describe are of a buyers remorse nature.
As previous poster said if you can’t charge at home and do lots of miles then a Tesla sub is the way to go.

Could have bought a Tesla for less than £40k in the first place.
