Euro Parking Service. Less than 3mins to read their sign, during which time I was issued a PCN

where do I start.
I made a delivery and on exiting the area, stopped to read a ‘Euro Parking’ sign. After reading the sign for just a few minutes, I took note and swiftly moved on.

A short while later I received a PCN. For stopping less than 3 minutes.

I of course appealed it on the basis that I only stopped to read their substantial sign (not like a Highway Code sign but more a statement), took note and moved on accordingly.
my appeal was rejected.

I continued my appeal, now by post, as per Euro Parking process. TWO letters. But I am still receiving what I believe to me genetic responses threatening further action.

I went on citizens advice website which directed me to POPLA. But to start an appeal with POPLA I need a verification code from Euro Parking. I couldn’t find this. So I rang POPLA but can’t get through the phone system without a verification code. I even rang Euro Parking but the number both on their website & correspondence is a dead line!!!

Can somebody please help or advice. I currently have just a few days left before Euro Parking, despite ignoring me, taking this further.

Ignore unless you get a letter before claim directly from gladstones not euro
Let them know if you move address
Move on with your life.

Easy to defend if they're stupid enough to make a claim. 3 minutes is no where near enough time to read and decide to park or not.

Have a read of NEWBIES Announcement thread 4th Post, explains next action and how you deal with it. Their intention is to scare you into paying. Continuing with threats of further action they hope you'll cave in and pay.
NEWBIES advise trying PLAN A - complaint from the keeper to the Landowner ask them to cancel pcn.
Citizens Advice not the best on private parking issues. Follow forums advice.

Thanks everyone. 

It was Capability Green in Luton. 

I did try and find the landowner, as I obviously delivered around there so wasn’t even trespassing. But even with google etc I couldn’t find the owner. I don’t even remember which of the companies I delivered to as I do this job day to day.

its just so unfair that we have to use our own time and money to defend ourselves when we are not even at fault in the first place. 

Euro Parking make it impossible to get in touch with them, clearly on purpose. Yet things like this can effect credit ratings etc which is a huge impact on people life. It’s disgusting!!!

It's disgusting we've had to wait this long for a Govt to address it.

You could ask your MP to help. It's easy to send them an email explain whats happened and stress how much worry it's causing in your personal and work life.

Please also sign/share this petition demanding the re-launch of the Govt backed Parking Code. It's needed to control the industry's bad practices. 🙏

Yes, I tried to ring Euro Parking Services on their own listed number, to obtain a verification number. It’s a dead line!. I’d love to get the details of their owner, put a ‘you’re not allowed to breathe fresh air’ sign in their face and hit them with an extortionate fine for taking a breath, then not allow them a logical option to dispute it. And this is after an online appeal and TWO letters as per THEIR process.
