Vinted - Dodgy sellers?

Apologies if this has been posted before, I'm a Newbie (apparently).

I, like many others, have opted to use Vinted to buy affordable 2nd hand garments of brands that I would typically not be able to afford if buying new from a retailer. Brilliant concept and I love the items that I've received that are and seem genuine. However, of late I've noticed a number of sellers having a vast number of 'New with tags' or 'New without tags' items that keep popping up. How do these sellers keep having so many 'New' items to sell, and often repost the same item once one is sold? These new items are often significantly cheaper than their retailer counterparts, yet by all accounts they seem genuine. (For reference the brands/items I see often are Ralph Lauren t-shirts, Gant t-shirts, Rapha cycling gear. All brands that aren't cheap).
What's going on here? How do they have so many seemingly genuine branded items for sale, often at half the RRP?

There are a great number of dodgy sellers on Vinted, they don't usually last long and they can usually be identified and reported though. usual signs are low or no feedback and strange user name - often random computer generated number and letters. Also, do a reverse look up on the photos they use - quite often they will target Vinted with a dozen or more identical selling accounts and just upload the same items at the same price using the same photos. Quite often the items are in strange amounts - £11.77 for instance, as they are scamming across all the Vinted sites and just converting the Euro round figure into sterling.

There is a story I've seen, I have no idea whether it is an urban myth that it's a shop lifting thing. It's also possible items are fake - the Vinted groups are full of people who think it perfectly acceptable to sell dupes , and seem surprised when other users report them.

Counterfeit or grey market goods are my instant thoughts.
Grey Market covers goods bought in 1 country and sold in another where returns are higher and goods made in the same factory as the genuine articles but come out the side door so to speak.
I was aware that individuals could oncevupon a time earn a good hustle removing genuine labels from designer goods that could be added to counterfeits.
