Is this gas or electricity?0

Is this just a forecast? If so it doesn't mean very much, it's just a guess. What your bills show you're being billed for is far more relevant. Note that it's kWh not kW.0

It doesn't sound like a forecast if the supplier reaction is that the level of use is being recorded? Agree that we need to know what the bills say though - and answers to Qriz's questions are the starting point.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

tim_p said:Is this gas or electricity?If it is for gas, it could be that EDF think that the meter is an imperial model when it is a metric one. That would push the readings up nearly threefold, but even so 19,000kWh is still a lot of gas.Another possibility is it is an electronic (either dumb or smart) coming to the end of its life and the battery is going flat. Not unheard of for a meter to provide outlandish readings in these circumstances.Her courage will change the world.

@Mrsverystressed stressed
Please have a look at your meter (the one in a cupboard - not the toy is your kitchen) Read the meter - watch out for the decimal point. Make a note of the serial number. Is the unit labelled m3
Now look at your bill. Is the serial number the same - is it marked m3 or ft3Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill1
