Morning everyone Ruby take care of yourself it’s shocking that you are getting so upset over this it shouldn’t be causing you all this worry and stress I hope it’s sorted soon . Not a lot happening today I’ve packed ready to go away tomorrow I just have some last bits to do and the car is to fill in the morning before we set off last cleaning job of the week I’m ready for a break to be honest they have all said I can’t believe you won’t be back for two weeks but I keep reminding myself I’m retired now and I can take as long as I want really. Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Izzy - I meant to say we have sunshine forecast in Northumberland for the next week, so you've picked the right time to visit.....enjoy yourself.
Little one had loved Lion King last night. She had eaten just a few little bites of food yesterday, not much but it's progress.
Right I'd better get dressed as I need to catch the bus up to the station soon - excited to see eldest DD this afternoon x

@RedRuby1231 perhaps I'd better come around for Rob's rotten sister and " sort 'er art" .  Btw it give me a chuckle as I am normally the most non-confrontational person you are ever likely to meet  .
Beautiful sunny morning here which is just as well as the field is like a squelchy sponge. Cold westerly wind will help dry it our a bit.
Another poor sleeper here - churning over council stuff in my head all night. It will sort itself out in due course. The reason clerk left was due to, amongst other things, a nasty case of bullying. It is currently under investigation by an external body and will probably go further. I can not say more atm.
Saw my lovely friend yesterday ( the one who rides Showman for me) and whilst she was away for the weekend her horse had severe colic and was transported to horsey hospital for urgent surgery!! He seems to be ok now, but she was very fortunate that someone caught him in time, and had the gumption to get the vet. I hate to think what her bill will be ( it is an insurance job) as I just had the invoice for Scooby and that was eyewatering , for several reasons!

Chores are calling so I will wish you all well, hope the poodles are recovering

We have the roof cleaning company here finishing the job. Lots of moss coming down the windows which looks like slurry 🤢 We also have the blind man coming today (cue rude joke…) 

DS1 and DIL are bringing grand furbaby tonight as he’s staying for the weekend whilst they go to Dublin. Dinner is sticky chicken, rice and Pak Choi mmmmmmm

Morning all.  It's a beautiful sunny day here with blue cloudless skies, no rain on the horizon either.  Better still, it looks as if we're in for a good spell for a while although the nights will still be on the chilly side.  

@topsy - I hope your eye test went well yesterday.  

@TA - B's had better get your tablets right this time, if they don't we could be keeping each other company on the Angry Step!       

@Floss - Yes, we do have stock condition surveys but, if push comes to shove, I might just have to raise an official complaint.

@Izzy - Enjoy your break.

@Ruby - It goes from bad to worse, doesn't it?  It's obvious you have Rob's best interests at heart and not right that you're so stressed out over it all.  I hope the SW can help to get things sorted out, sooner rather than later.

Today's plans, apart from the usual daily chores - a walk out to return a book, dispose of soft plastics and do the usual weekly top up shop at the Co-op.  The cake tin is empty so I'll make something this afternoon - maybe an almond cake as there's some ground almonds on the Use Up list.  Tea is a beef & veg pasty, sprouts, boiled potatoes; tonight's TV viewing will be Tales From The Riverbank followed by the new version of Bergerac.

Hello all, the sun is out but the wind is biting, I found that out when going to the bin earlier brrr ! 
I managed most of my chores yesterday but there's a few left on my list, well on page one in a very long book 🤣
I'll plod on though and do a few more today. I finished my jigsaw yesterday and brought out another which I'll start this afternoon.
RedRuby you're obviously a very caring person and don't deserve to be treated so unfairly. I wish there were more people in the world like you, it would make such a difference.

AA glad the back problem is an easy fix.

Hi all, long time lurker here but I wanted to just share something with Ruby about the lack of payment - you wouldn’t go to a supermarket and ask to pay for your shopping later on, would you? She should be paying you upfront. Hope you get it sorted soon and that the sw supports you and intervenes if necessary.
