I have a large number of xls files all in the same format with 20 odd tabs in each one, for 80% of them (easy to identify which ones) I need to create a duplicate of the file, for about 5 of the tabs create a duplicate of them with the same name plus suffix and change the header of tables that are in fixed position.
Basic job, will take hours to do by hand and likely for mistakes to be made.
So, what's the best way to automate this? A Macro? Created them for working within a file but not sure about being able to work with any xls file? Can't be done online, can't involve installing software (if windows) but could if it runs on Mac
