Can't claim under S75?

As above, that sounds like they chose to process the claim as a chargeback, rather than a s75 one, so you have the right to insist on the latter, even if that's less convenient for them.

@GentleGiant_2 -  apologies if somebody has already asked, but I seem to recall that Amex cards are not necessarily credit cards, but can sometimes be charge cards.

Is yours a credit card or a charge card?

With AmEx you can only raise a "dispute" which leaves it to them to decide if its a chargeback or a S75 claim (assuming its not a chargecard).

120 days is a Chargeback consideration not a S75 one. So you need to go back to them and now ask that they reconsider the matter under S75 having rejected the chargeback (again assuming its a credit card)

All the time - as is, every morning whilst getting dressed. I've never encountered any such issue with any mattress ever whilst doing so. 🤷‍♀️ Of course, I don't sit on the edge for hours, but I do sit on it.
