    You can do it manually:
Minus the fixed amount (75p?) then divide by 1.04 (I think, if the fees are 4% - or 1.0x where x is the %)

I assume it's that way round, rather than them calculating it as +75p + x%

I haven't listed anything recently but I was told that when you do a listing, it tells you what the buyer protection fee is?

Yes it does.  So if you are listing something for £4, just above it will tell you that the buyer fee is 91p.  Then you can play around with the £4 till you get a round figure when adding the buyer fee.

I've just noticed OP mentions offers as well - presumably when a buyer makes an offer, the amount shown to the seller is the amount they'd get with the buyer fee already subtracted.

But you shouldn't have to 'play around' with figures.
It should be simple and transparent for sellers.

The best offers is, at best, hard work under this new system.

    Example,
I have an item listed for £19.85. It is showing on the site (to buyers) at £21.36

I recived an offer. The email says I have received an offer of £18 so I go into the ebay app.
In the app it says I have received an offer of £16.62.
Clicking on the offer shows the buyer has offered £18 and I will receive £16.62.

I decide £3.32 is too high a drop on a sub 20 item sp I try to make a counter offer.

I offer back at £18.51 as I think this should show an offer to the buyer of £20.00
    (18.51+4%=19.25+75p = 20)

First problem, I get the message "your offer cannot be higher than the buy it now price"

My offer is not higher than either my original price or the price the buyer sees with the protection fee.
I can only think that the glitch is because ebay add the fee to my offer and that total comes to more than my original Bin price (without the fee)

So, I go back and try again attempting to get the buyer to pay £19 for the item.
    So, £19-75p= 18.25
    18.25 ÷ 1.04 = 17.5480
    Presume I round off?
So, make an offer to the buyer of £17.55 but the preview shows that's not correct to get to £19.

I actually had to make an offer of £17.57.

Buyer has accepted the counter offer and paid.
Payment page shows £17.57 to me, £1.43 fee, Total of £19.00

Its useless - I might just have to remove offers, you need to crack out the calculator to try and make an educated 'guess' at the price!  I've also tried 'playing around' with the figures to make the item price a 'standard £20 and it takes an age to deduct a few pence, see what the buyers fee shows as then try again...and again...

Absolute !!!!!!, has put me right off ebay!
