I'm so confused about what to do about my tarriff
Hey,
I'm currently with 'Home Energy' and pay £256 per month. I do meter readings every month and have projected usage of 4233kWh electricity and 30884kWh gas.
All good so far.
I just read the latest email about the best fixes coming to an end and there being a potential saving of 6% when you factor in the impending price cap increase however, the MSE Cheap Energy comparison (with the details above) tells me that every tarriff will cost me at least 3% more at today's prices and I presume that will go up by the 6% increase when that takes effect too which comes out at 9%.
On that basis, am I better sticking with Home Energy and sucking up the 6% cap increase?

The problem is you are not a typical customer but a high user, always skews the savings figures. What are you currently paying per kWh and SC ?0
