If my !!!!!! period is between 5 to 8 of month and ny rent contract runs from 22 each month was told to give notice just after assessment period ie around 9th or 10th But would I get rent paid for the period inbetween ie 23 to 9th??

    If there is a change in rent then it apllies back to the start of the AP in which the change happened. (Most changes of circumstsnces do).
    So if your rent goes up, (or down), then you can win (or lose) a bit depending on when in your AP that change happens.
