I have never lived in Bracknell itself but have been within 10 miles for 30+ years.

Bracknell as a whole isn't a bad area at all these days, the town centre was a dive before a regeneration completed in 2017 for if I remember £250m+, it is now one of the nicest and best shopping centres in the region with a great choice of shops.

Easthampstead is just over the road from Great Hollands estate which historically has had a very poor reputation however that is changing too and it is not the place it was 20 years ago.

You have some great facilities on your door step at Easthampstead including a council leisure centre, very good athletics club, the Look Out centre which has a great play park for kids 1-10ish as well as huge woods to play in. Some of the best mountain biking in the country (outside of proper mountains), a David Lloyd gym, a very fancy kids swimming pool (coral reef, although be ready for a second mortgage for a family trip). I believe there is quite a good theatre in the area as well.

    Hope thats helpful

South Hill Park is nice (and does indeed have a good theatre). Happy memories from back the days when we lived in Reading....

I do not know about the suburb of Easthampstead, but I find Bracknell itself a rather uninspiring place.
Apart from the modern Lexicon shopping mall, it is a dreary sixties 'new town' with lots of concrete, underpasses, subways, office blocks etc
I suppose would be OK for younger children as they have all the fast food outlets, shops, cinemas, ice rink, bowling alley, big fun leisure centre etc
    Pretty dead in the evenings.
, if you like going out.
Lots of traffic jams in the rush hour, but a decent train service to Reading, rather slow stopping service to London.
