Is there an industry wide switching issue in some regions?

Apparently Tomato energy switches are all failing in the SE region with no date for when this might be resolved.

It has bene suggested to me that this is an industry wide problem with the national DB which would mean that there was no point in my trying to switch to any supplier currently.  Has anyone heard any more regarding and is able to confirm that no one in the SE can switch supplier at the moment?

I can't answer you, but the same question did cross my mind when I read about the problems TE' seem to be having in switching some customers.

Given their previous list of issues that TE have had over the past six months or so, I do wonder if this is another example of their lack of capability/understanding, rather than an industry wide issue.
