    Hello @K_S
    I have run into the same issue as you by the looks and my plan was the same as yours to purchase items from lexuspartsdirect and get them fitted at a local garage.  Can you confirm if you ended up buying SKU: 48780-78010 NXP1 & SKU: 48760-78010 NXP1?  The pictures on the website (& the screenshot that you show above) look a bit different compared to what was seen on the car and the person at the garage was not convinced I picked the right item.  If you could confirm these parts were the right ones, that would be much appreciated!

    For reference, this is what I was told at Lexus: "O/S/R suspension trailing arm bushing completely deteriorated/ split."  And the same for N/S/R.  [O/S/R - I interpret this as "Outside Rear", with N/S/R as "Nearside Rear"].

    Thank you

    @danby22 The garage I used ordered it from Lexus directly and had it delivered to their garage. I didn't want to take that responsibility. When ordering it said it would take 3 weeks but it actually turned up in a week.

    These are the photos he sent me with the new part fitted. The part nos. look the same but I don't know if there are any further differences

    Thank you @K_S. That is super helpful!  The pictures show the same part numbers I had and seems to confirm I have the right ones. Appreciate your help!

    My Lexus NX registered Jan 2019 failed the MOT 2 days back for this reason, done only 33000 miles. O/S/R Trailing arm excessively worn (suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn Offside Rear (Trailing arm) and major fail on MOT. The dealer is asking for £1200 to fix this. The advisory says suspension arm pin worn but not resulting in excessive movement Nearside Rear (Trailing arm).  I think the £1200 is only for fixing the major fail and worried they will charge the same amount for the Nearside rear next year. Always serviced by Lexus dealer since bought 2020. The dealer is saying won't be covered by Lexus warranty. Has anyone successfully claimed this from warranty from Lexus UK. Disappointing, never expected this from Lexus brand.

    Have you asked the dealer if that estimate is for one arm or both? What did they say?

    And, no, warranties never cover wear and tear. Suspension bushes on a 6yo car? No great surprise.

    @thanks When I had the same issue and did a bit of research on the Lexus forums, this is what I found -

    - it's seemingly a pretty common issue with NXs, there's a thread here https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/134938-nx300h-trailing-arm-bush-replacement/?&page=2#comments

    - While the standard dealer response is that it's a wear and tear item and hence not covered under warranty, I can see one example on the thread above of Lexus UK doing it gratis after being pushed, where the car was 2019 with 28k miles

    - based on anecdotal examples from the forum (and mine), it seems Lexus mechanics are a bit too eager to fail MOTs on this item so in the future it might be worth splitting out the MOT (at an independent garage) and the service at the dealer to keep the warranty. At least that's what I'm doing going forward.

    - assuming you have time left on the MOT, you could consider getting the arms replaced at an independent garage. The parts will cost the same but it'll probably save you a few hundred pounds at least on labour.

    Good luck, hope you're able to sort it out one way or the other!

    Hi K_S,

    Thanks for your help. Lexus UK kindly agreed to give parts for free and reduced labour charges and I ended up paying only 1/4 of the quote.

    @Mildly_Miffed, they replaced both sides.
