Rant alert!! I left the pharmacy with steam coming out of my ears, one step away from putting the boxing gloves on! The attitude of the assistant left a lot to be desired which didn't help. She insisted the missing capsules had been dispensed because it said so on the computer and implied I was a senile old woman! for not looking through my meds. She then summoned another assistant who double checked, disappeared into the back and re-appeared with the missing capsules in a separate bag! No apology forthcoming. I then asked if anyone had managed to speak to a doctor about an alternative for the unavailable BP tablets. Back on her high horse she informed me they don't ring the doctor I should do that myself! I asked why it had taken 2 weeks for someone to tell me to do that.. She turned her back and walked away. I have never seen her before and I hope I don't have dealings with her again. Sorry, rant over!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"8

@TA - I really feel for you. I'm glad you eventually got the missing tablets but can't understand why they didn't tell you to speak to the GP about a suitable alternative for the BP tablets before now. I sincerely hope they aren't one of those that's marked "Do not stop taking unless your GP tells you to". The communication thread between surgeries and pharmacies definitely isn't always as good as it's cracked up to be. I hope you've managed to calm down now - although without BP tablets .........Be kind to others and to yourself too.7

Gosh TA, I would have been fuming too. Mistakes happen but it just takes an apology and everyone feels better - we have a very entitled generation on our hands!
Just nipping on whilst I'm at work, not long until the end of the school day when it's absolutely manic.
It's been raining on and off today but it's brilliant sunshine at the moment, hoping it stays fine as I'm visiting a friend after work and I don't really like the drive.
You sound perkier today Nanny, nice to see.
Shame your lady has cancelled Ruby, will you be able to take someone else? Bet you're glad to get your meetings out of the way.
Glad you're feeling better snoozer.
Must dash - work to do!!
Take care. XX
