Hi,
Just wondering what a disqualified Director of a ltd company is allowed to trade as?
Would they be able to set up as a sole trader and use sub contractors to project manage a job?
Not sure what the rules are in relation to the management of a company?
Thanks

During the period of disqualification, you are not allowed to be a director of a UK company or any company that is overseas but has connections to the UK. You are also not allowed to be involved in forming, running or promoting a company without the court's permission in each case.
.Gov website has detailed guidance on what you can and cannot do.

They can work, though some professions won't allow disqualified to practice whilst they are disqualified. They cannot be a director (or have a stooge who you control acting as a director for you). Various other bodies like schools, pension trustees have limitations too.0
