Still suffering after the IT glitch on 31st

Are other people still being affected by the Barclays IT glitch on 31st Jan.   I have still not been paid.  Barclays are trying to blame my bank or the intermediary bank.  Getting nowhere fast.  Any advice ?  All is well

    Ring Barclays (yes I know it's a pain) and tell them you want to lodge a complaint.  Don't be fobbed off.  Tell them that due to their IT problems you have been "financially disadvantaged" (use those words) and that you need them to resolve the problem for you.  If they say again that it's your bank then tell them that they must provide, in writing, (email is fine) where they suppose the problem is.  

    If Barclays is your employers bank and your pay hasn't reached your account then they should provide you with the transaction number.  If Barclays is your bank then you need to tell them to look into their suspense account for the amount of pay expected.  You should have a payslip that gives the exact amount so that should help pinpoint the money when someone is looking at the correct account.

    I assume your employer banks with Barclays, and you don't. Who do you bank with?

    Do you have any colleagues who are impacted, or is it just you?

    Have you spoken to your own bank to ask if they can locate the credit?

    Have you spoken to your employer to tell them you have not been paid?

    Tracing a missing payment needs to be initiated by the sending bank, who will probably only do it on the request of their customer (your employer). If your employer uses BACS there might also be a Bureau (a third party who submit the payment instructions to BACS) invovled too, so it's really something your employer needs to deal with.
