I had a mortgage rented out the property the the tenant let her son in who dealt drugs and the place ended up destroyed we gave it up for voluntary repossession there was a short fall of £30,000, we’ve not heard a thing from the mortgage company and this will be 6 years again in December 2025, we really want to by again what happens with credit score does it still show ?? Any help appreciated, will I be able to get a mortgage??

Mortgage shortfall debts can be chased for 6 years (interest debt) and 12 years (capital debt).
