Car park fine DCBL

Hi,

Someone I know has received a FINAL REMINDER - Unapif parking charge £170 from DCBL. This is the second letter they have received from the DCBL.

They where parked in the car park for around 5-10 minutes roughly back in 2022 when realised they where in the wrong car park and decided to move on. 

They are looking for advice on what to do with this letter, as when they first received a fine from the parking company they appealed it at the start.

It then got passed to DCBL and the person has never acknowledge the letters they have received, also the name of the person is wrong spelling completely a different first name,but the address is correct.

Does this person respond to the DCBL and take it serious regarding the fine? 

Or can it be ignored?

the person is from Scotland and the fine was in Scotland. Not sure if this impacts anything?

If the invoice and keeper are both in Scotland, then the keeper can treat it like the junk mail it is.

You'll likely only see another letter with a reduced offer and then they'll give up.
