Morning all. It's feeling mild but grey/drizzling at the moment and should be dry with sunshine in the afternoon. I have a couple of things to pick up from Argos so might do that today if the weather obliges.
I haven't found the snail in the living room but have vac'd in that area including using the crevice nozzle at the edges of the carpet. I cleaned up the snail trail and can't see any new signs this morning so hopefully it's gone. I'm used to spiders coming in sometimes but the snail invasion is new one on me.
If I don't do the Argos collection today I have other pending jobs to keep me occupied including the paper shredding that didn't happen yesterday. It's all DH's Sadmin stuff that I don't need any more. At some stage I need to put together a checklist of information that DS will need when I shuffle off. Not the most cheerful of tasks, I know, but needs must. And I want to catch up on last night's Call the Midwife on iplayer - I nodded off and missed it. Tea tonight is a quickie - a burger in a bun but there's also side salad to make it a bit healthier!
@Ruby - Good luck with the Carers Review.
@TA - Your DGD sounds like a busy girl! And I love how she invites herself to yours for tea.
@WL - Lift 109 sounds interesting, don't miss the train!
Right, time to make a start with the new week. Enjoy your day whatever you're doing, take care, "see" you tomorrow. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.8 -
Morning! It was windy and raining and now it's a little bit sunny, just a very little bit though which is my cue to do the stupid thing and go to the allotment in a bit. Going to sow some spring onions seeing as I manage to get through loads of them and do some more weaving of sticks. Not a lot else planned for today except maybe identify pieces of wood to chop up tomorrow and find some bits for some kindling. And do some freezer diving for tonight. There are lots of single meal leftovers but no doubles, so it's mix and match time.dp1, fingers crossed for her adventure! and yours! TA, Nanny, filling the meds box wasn't too bad to start with but now, somehow, I've managed to get all my tablets mixed up so I don't take the same seven from every strip if you know what I mean. I've no idea how I managed that either, so annoying, I like it allto be neat and the same...Damn, got distracted for a couple of hours...more rain now means no allotment and my second cup of tea has gone cold. Maybe I'll just read instead!Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi8
