You should also add that it is denied that there was a contract as pleaded. There was no 'relevant obligation' for drivers attending the cinema to 'purchase' either a Pay & Display ticket or a Permit. The vehicles of both drivers were exempted properly on the day and if the Claimant's system failed, they caused a frustration of contract. No conduct of the Defendant breached any terms whatsoever.
Of course I would need to change mine to be for the gym:

Your Defence filing deadline is 4pm today, not tomorrow.
Urgh just noticed I left "both drivers" in the defence, mistake. Oh well, should be fine to deal with if this does go to court.2 -
Just a quick update:
Had mediation, to be honest I was in 2 minds whether to answer the phone but thankfully I did, I see the new guidance on this is to give them 5 mins of your time! Didn't realise that. Of course that was a waste of time and we now have a court date set at 5th August. If I've read correctly I now have untill 14 days before that date to submit a Witness Statement.
If I've made any mistakes or need to do anything please let me know - thanks all for your support!

Your Notice of Allocation will give you the deadline by when you must submit the WS. Sometimes it is 14 days before but sometimes it is a date. Check it out.3

Please post a redacted picture of the N279 document below, for inclusion in the discontinuations thread by @Umkomaas1 -
I've actually made a mistake
it was my other case that got discontinued haha... this is still pending. So strange because I'm not even aware of a court date for my other case.. I'll delete my previous message!
EDIT: I've been getting things mixed up! The court date that I thought was for this case was for the other case! So I actually still have not received a court date for this particular case.2
