Hi
Im executor of my aunts will, and have just completed the IHT400 and now looking to pay the tax bill. Im just going through the companies that will release payments direct for tax payment to HMRC and have a number to ring to confirm if they can tomorrow, but wanted to see if anyone knew if you can use FRISA and ISA (from Nationwide) to pay direct to HMRC by completing the IHT423?
Additional Info - not married long time partner, house included in IHT calculation but not being sold so all the money will come from her accounts with money in - which there is enough but just tring to work out who can pay HMRC - or if there is a "list" - i have tried searching the forums but not sure if im just not using the right key words!
Thanks in advance for any responses

Can't remember account types - but have experience of successfully paying HMRC via IHT423 from Nationwide. So they do it.1

I found that the banks and building socs I had to deal with all had a section that covered Bereavement issues on their websites. That tells if they can/will pay IHT and what you need to close any accounts. I'd avoid using ISA accounts if you can because they remain tax free.0

Are any of the accounts below the level where the banks will pay the executor without having to wait for probate?0
