Parking Eye - No return within 2 hours

I’ve messed up big time. I went and parked in St Augustine Way today. It’s Sunday, I am a disabled driver in a mobility car. I went into the car park around 2.45 ish, parked in disabled bay, sat for about three minutes looking for my purse. I’d left it at home. Went out the car park and returned around six minutes later. I never got out the car the first time. Had to pick up my dog food. I suppose this will be a costly trip.

    Why do you say that?
    Where is St Augustine Way?
    Is it a shopping centre?
    A supermarket?
    Two drivers?
Who know unless we get more information.

Do not name or attempt to name the driver, the vehicle entered a car park and an occupant of the vehicle has a disability that entitles them to a blue badge/and or impacts their mobility.

A Google search shows a St Augustine way car park in Leicester, Norwich and London ( and a few other places)

    Car park location?
Do not attempt to id the Driver, the driver could be a different person on each trip.

you will not be paying a penny, while this may cost you in time spent dealing with it, you will gain some knowledge on the way which in turn will give you confidence in the future and possible help others in a simialr situation

Have you had a parking charge yet?  Or are you stressing about something that hasn't happened yet.

No return within 2 hours is generally to avoid the defence "I didn't overstay I went and came back...." so the question is what time did you leave the second time? How long are you allowed to be parked there?
  • About 3 minutes car was in the retail park. Left car park, went home, car came back 10-15 minutes later. Five minutes in retail park then car left again.

    Where - which town?

It won't be expensive because you won't PAY! You'll obviously just try Plan A first and kill it.

    See the NEWBIES FAQS thread.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • You can't and don't need to do anything unless you get a NTK in the post, stop fretting you may see nothing materialise. With ANPR it will probably ignore the first out second in and count it as one long stay anyway!
