Timmons unable to cut a key for a wall safe

Options
I have a wall safe and one key. Thought I would get another key cut for just in case .Took my key to Timsons key cutting place and they said they can’t do it. Now it’s not a brilliant extra strong safe just an ordinary one that cost about £40 10 years ago. I think the make is Nutool. Any suggestions about getting another key from somewhere?

Not all keys can be cut by the High Street locksmiths -  my work keys were in a security set and no copies could be made.

Did they say it was because they didn't have a suitable blank ?
I'd suggest visiting an independent locksmith.

Thanks both. Timpsons just said they were unable to do that type of key but to me it looks nothing special but I will go to another locksmith just in case.

Our new back door lock has a card/code that needs to be provided for additional keys to be cut, and key cutting can only be done in limited places. (Timpsons isn't one of them).

For obvious reasons the safe manufacturer may have taken the same approach to their keys.
