Claimants solicitor say I have a CCJ but it's not on the Register

I've received the following letter from QDR Solicitors:
We confirm judgement was entered against you on 02 February 2025, a balance of £282.00 remains outstanding.
Our client is now entitled to commence immediate enforcement proceedings against you...
Why would this be? Surely QDR Solicitors aren't lying to me regarding the judge's decision made in the hearing on the 2nd February 2025.
I've received nothing directly from the court so far and the last communication from them was regarding the hearing date. Should I try contacting the court to see if they can give me more information? I just want to be sure that this is genuine before I get in touch with QDR Solicitors.
Thanks

It won't appear on the register just yet, there is no "CCJ" until you have failed to pay the court judgement within 30 days. So the hearing date was 2 Feb and you didn't attend / defend ? Yes, you need to get on to the court to find out why you have not heard anything.2

Ah okay, it's confusing because the letter from QDR Solicitors states:You should also be aware that this judgement has now been registered on the register of judgements, orders and fines...
so I assumed that I would now be able to find it on the register.
I didn't attend the hearing (and contacted the court many months ago to let them know) but said that I am happy for the case to proceed based on the documents I have provided (witness statement, defence etc.).
I have just had a look at the last email I received from the court, which was received on 30/01/2024, and it said:
Thank you for your email received 30 January 2024.
I can confirm that the case file has been referred to the District Judge for allocation direction.
Please note that due to the huge volume of referrals, currently the judges are working with a considerable amount of back log; and it is likely that you may experience further delays in receiving directions in the case. Simultaneously, the Court is struggling with the limited number of judges to allocate the cases for future hearings which seems to have added to the delay.
Please be assured that everything is being done to speed up the progress; and we shall contact you once the directions have been issued.
We apologies for the delay and the inconvenience caused. If we can be of any further assistance in this matter then please do not hesitate to contact our customer service team on 03001235577, I must however advise that Court staff are not legally trained and cannot offer legal advice.
and I never received a follow-up letter or email from them. Is it normal for a court to forget to inform that your hearing has been allocated and to only find this information out from the Claimant? It makes me further suspicious of the letter I have received from QDR Solicitors when you consider that the court has all of my correct contact details and that the last I heard from them was back in January 2024.
Anyway, I have now just sent another email to the court, asking for an update on the status of the case, and will also try giving them a call considering I don't have long left to pay the balance and avoid the CCJ, if I indeed owe it.

Almost everyone loses when they do that. If your hearing was on 2nd Feb then you have almost certainly lost by not attending. QDR will have sent a rep to the hearing and won't be lying; the CCJ will show soon.
I assume you had no choice but not turning up to argue your case was letting QDR's legal rep have the floor to themselves - handing them an almost certain win and wasting your time on even defending it.
This is why we say NEVER do that. You should never have said you were 'happy' (effectively) to let QDR run the show in your absence. You must pay within 30 days to avoid a CCJ.
You should get a copy of the judgment soon.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
