Can I Complete My PIP Review in 4 Days?

My PIP review form must be sent on Wednesday, Feb 26, to meet the March 3 DWP deadline. This leaves me with only four days (not including today) to complete it, and I'm feeling quite stressed about it. I already suffer from severe anxiety, and I haven't been able to focus on the PIP review until now due to multiple other tasks I've had to deal with (e.g., landlord issues, my mobile phone failing, applying for a hardship fund, having to change my GP to get my medication).
I wonder if it would be worth asking for an extension. Given my anxiety, I would need something in writing to confirm the extension rather than simply a verbal "yes" on the phone. However, I'm concerned that the hassle of asking for the extension might be counterproductive.
Questions:
- Is the PIP review doable in four days?
- Can most of it be copied from my original PIP application?
- Would asking for an extension be counterproductive given the hassle involved?
I'd greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions.

Definitely ask for an extension. I think at least 2/3 the people I've talked to about PIPs get extensions so they are well used to it.
And ask for help in filling out the form if you don't feel capable. You can copy whatever's relevant from your original application.
It probably is possible to do it in 4 days if you're up to it, but I don't think they ever deny an initial extension so you may as well request one. The only hassle for it is being on hold on the phone until you get through.2 -
Get extension on Monday. Timescales we cannot determine for your abilities... and yes... try to restate your problems... if that means repeating much of what you've said before on forms alongside highlighting no change in disablement then do so.. keep copy (electronically ideally) for future use and reference. Refer to previous assessment if you agree with its conclusions on descriptors.... sound agreeable and reasonable where possible to cut out risks of them veering from a path of making a similar award (assuming that's the aim)"Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack1
