Gas safe register commisioning certificate

Looking at putting my house on the market and one of the documents I'm being asked to provide is the Gas Safe installation completion certificate. I have it, in addition to the boiler's own commissioning checklist. Problem is that the checklist accurately has the commissioning date in 2021, but the install certificate hard copy and on the gas safe register has it as 2022, same date/month - exactly one calendar year later.
Naturally I call up the register who advised it is a legal document that only an engineer can put right. Advised to contact the installer who should correct, so have reached out via e-mail yesterday, checked on companies house, supplied e-mail is for the director. Tried calling number on website & gas safe register a bunch of times, only voicemail - which I have left today.

I've seen enquiries similar to this on this forum before, but I'm wondering if in my case I may have an alternative avenue to explore.
Mine is a new build, just over 3 years old, so of course the developer contracted the company who made the date error when submitting the commission certificate on the boiler.
Would anyone know if I can hold them accountable and get them to do the rest of the leg work, in case I don't hear back from the installer promptly (or at all)?

Does anyone care whether it was declared compliant in 2021 or 2022?

If they do, suspect it will be the solicitors. Wouldn't want a small detail to hold up a deal, especially as it should be an easy free fix.
