A massive thank you to everyone who contributes to this forum, came across this forum whilst searching for smart parking's parking fine legitimacy. Followed guidance laid out in this forum and was able to get two parking charges cancelled at the end of November that were issued in the mid of September. They took their sweet time to reply to my initial submission and I was fretting receiving threatening letters at some point. I was relieved to get responses advising cancellation. Therefore, I just wanted to say thank you for saving me £200.5

I don't want to start a new thread to ask this as seems unnecessary, but when you send you defence off to ClaimResponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk should they acknlowedge they have received it? Or is the fact it shows as sent good enough?

"6 IMPORTANT - MAKE SURE YOU GET AN EMAIL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BACK FROM THE CNBC! After filing your Defence, there is more to do".
When sending emails, it is always advised to send it to yourself as well.
