Two questions:

1. Im out of a minimum term contract and have been for months.  If I threaten to cancel will they terminate my TV connection straight away or will it be 30 days?

2. Under the new rules, which Sky dont abide by, do they still email customers to say how much your increase is?

Many thanks for any help or advice given.

Beyond the minimum term, you still need to give (and pay for) 30 days notice. So if you cancel you should still have 30 days more service.

I've just reached my minimum term and I have lost a couple of "in contract" discounts. Only noticed because this months bill was about £10 higher than last month, don't recall any email from them.

    1) See T&Cs - 31 days notice.
    2) They're supposed to but they're arguing that rule doesn't apply to them.  So they don't.

Do you actually want to cancel ?

Generally If you phone sky they will give you a new better deal if you sign up to a new contract
