thank you OPIf we attempt nothing, then we can achieve nothing. But if we try and fail, we still can gain.0

Hi, Just thought I would add my tuppence worth and post as I know this site is all about moneysaving et cetera but should we really be promoting companies which produce food which isn't exactly healthy for our bodies.
It may be cheap but does that mean we should be promoting it? I know everyone can make their own choice so it could still be listed on the site but does it need to be included in the weekly tips email?
Oh puh-lease. You're not an MP by any chance are you???? Anyone adult enough to be visiting this site ought to be adult enough to make their own decisions. Nobody's recommending we eat 2 of everything FGS. Just pointout out a bit of extra value for money. Some families can now give their kids an unexpected post-Christmas treat without breaking the bank. I appreciate the spirit of your post was almost certainly good, but people really should still have the right to make up their own minds on SOME things.
Rant over. Sorry, but it got my dander up! I'm sick of being Nannyed.

Oooh! And to anyone who uses the SPT overground bus services, for the past week or so they've had BOGOF offers for Mcdonalds on the back of their tickets. So if you use the service be sure to have a look at the rear of your ticket to see what you've got. So far I've only seen BOGOF on bigmacs, but there may be others too
*i should probably add I use the services in and around Glasgow*Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:0 -
You can go straight to the vouchers without having to give your details/email address.

Its fine in moderation! im sure u dont sit at home and eat healthy food all day, nobody wants salads constantly! i bet at least once a week u either buy fast food, or eat fatty things. fats are part of a balanced diet so dont say u dont! as long as ur not eating it constantly theres no problem. nobody is saying that because we have vouchers we will go there every day!
i used the vouchers last night, along with going to a screening. a night out for tea and the cinema cost the 2 of us less than a fiver.
this site is all about saving money, in different ways, whats wrong with treating urself once in a while if its cheap!?
who's with me?! lol :rotfl:A good friend can tell you what is the matter with you in a minute ...:A0 -
And, Don't forget you can always buy a few of these burgers and freeze them. The Big-Macs microwave back to perfection in seconds.

Yuk! This muck is bad enough in the first place, but just the thought of freezing and re-using it turns my stomach!
More seriously, this is unhealthy garbage but heck, it's an offer so it should be here. Shame though that the powers that be saw fit to put it in the email newsletter - it's not as if these multinationals need any more free publicity.0 -
Well, some of us dont have the time to sit and read everything on these forums, so I for one am glad that it was in the email! Thanks Martin!
And as someone pointed out, I can now take my two kids to the cinema and for a crappy lunch (which they love) for about a fiver this Saturday before they have to go back to school.
Thanks again!

Thanks. Has anyone tried talking them into including veggieburgers, which seemto be excluded from most of the offers?
