What a night it's been. Howling wind and battering rain, I woke a few times because of the noise.Pool class yesterday was tough though I feel better for it. Today I'm going out to meet up with an acquaintance for a catch up coffee then I will start preparing for my few days away.Hugs to all, especially @Mehefin.13

Back - before going downstairs I have, eventually, tackled the wardrobe chaos. Now I have spare room chaos instead. There are three piles of clothes (not big piles), one for 'let's see', one for rags bin and one for CS. I've found a new pair of grey trousers - what was I thinking? Obviously changed my mind after seeing them and before removing the tags.10

Morning folks. When we have two starters I never know which to reply to. but as GERS was higher up I have chosen that. SCARLET I'm glad all went well yesterday and you manage to keep your eyes open for today's visiting. I had a stupid night too, tossing and turning and clockwatching. Grr.
Yesterday wasn't a bad day and definitely milder. Sadly today we are due the battering winds and rain, though still mild. It's strange weather. I am not going out so I suppose it doesn't matter. Friday Tidy on the agenda with a dust and vac up and down.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Thinking of MEHEFIN, a sad time. Take care all, stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -

Morning All
Thanks for the starts Scarlet and Gers.
The weather was terrible here overnight, I too was woken up by the wind and lashing rain. It's not much better this morning . Yesterday saw a thunder and lightening storm with torrential rain followed by an hour or so of lovely sunshine.
Thinking of you today Mehefin.
Well done on the exercise Gers.
Glad the hospital appt was ok Scarlet, enjoy your visit today.
I'm staying home from work again today, eating is going well but still feel weak. Another day of sloth on the cards!
Take care. XX11 -
Good morning. And thanks to Gers and Scarlet for starting.
It's blowing a gale outside, but feels milder and is dry. Yesterday was mild but with the wind felt chilly.
Today's job is to go to the vet's to pick up big dogs tablets which weren't ready last time. Their not due until Sunday so no rush. Then I really must try and drive past Ald*, there really isn't anything we need and I'm always tempted to go in 'just for a look '.
Possibly salmon tonight, will see if OH wants that. I'm not bothered as I'm not much of a fish lover.
Thinking of Derek today, such a tough time for you. The photo was lovely. Big hugs.
Have a good day all. Take care.12 -
Morning all, grey but not raining atm.It certainly put some down yesterday. We went over to DS2 to collect the DGC and take them out for something to eat.Went to the place I usually go to with my cousins, it was heaving. It was nice to spend time with them, we don't tend to see much of DGD these days. As it was a lateish lunch we didn't need to eat the mince I'd cooked so we can have that tonight. Not sure what we're doing today but I do need to get a card for DGNephew- I know I make a lot of my own cards but not for children, or men either come to think of it unless it's an emergency when I've forgottenHugs for those that need one, and thinking of you Derek.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x
We have the roof being cleaned and de-mossed today, so 2 x cherry-pickers are taking up the drive. The local birds will have to go somewhere else for their 'all you can eat' buffet.
We came 2nd again at the quiz last night - to a different team this time. That's 3 months in a row. At least we are consistent in getting a podium place (and chocs!).
Pork chops for tea tonight - yummy.
Thinking of Derek especially today, but sending hugs to all those who are poorly or who have worries.

Morning! Blowing quite a lot here but it doesn't appear to be raining. No plans today, OH is still home, his hands are getting worse, not exactly sure what can be done about that, got no experience with exzema at all really except for stress elbow. They look awful too. So today may be sort bedclothes out, mayb be make the cat cushions, it's not like I havent got things to do but he'll sit quite happily and play a computer game all day and I can't. We're supposed to be going to a house party tomorrow night, not sure if that'll be happening...TA, I look at both, see which one was earlier, go with that one
Chris, hope you're packed! Bella, hope it all goes smoohtly for you all with minimum of stress. camelot, good to hear you're recovering albeit slowly...can't be much fun. Gers, you're on a roll! Excerice, decluttering at this in the mornign too! Coxy, congrats on second place again
Take care all, bit of a carp day today, stay in, poodles snuggle up...
