Hi there I have opened a chase account to use as a donor account for a bank account switch. Have setup two DDs to go with it, on thr app the DDs are showing as pending, not sure if this means if they are active or not. I require them to be active before I start the switch process. any ideas?

I don't have any DDs on my Chase account but it's possible that they don't activate them until the first time they are taken.0

The pending DDs on your account will stay pending until the first payment is taken. As long as they are set up and appear on your online banking them they should be okay for switching, but safest bet would be to wait until they pay out once before you do so.0

I would recommend having a second Chase account to switch, if you setup and switch your only one, Chase typically don't allow you backqwertyqwerty said:Hi there I have opened a chase account to use as a donor account for a bank account switch. People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Definitely this - always have at least 2 accounts open with Chase, and if you close one by switching then you should open another. It's very straightforward to open new accounts in the app.Nasqueron said:
