Advice on gaming pc

My 14 year old son has been using a Lenovo laptop for few years and I think it's finally given up and can't cope with the gaming. So looking at simple but effective pre built gaming pc for budget around £500 ISH. I know you can pay a lot more for something really good. I don't really know what spec I need to look for, and brands. Ideally if I can buy if from somewhere like Amazon or similar.

Looking at brands Storm force, Cyber power, Admi, Vibox. No idea if any are any good.
Plus what spec details do I need to have as minimum. He plays Minecraft and similar type games

Any advice appreciated thank you

No idea about the type you might need but maybe talk to the geeks at cex.  they do a lot of second hand stuff and might have something good at a fraction of the cost new.

What games do you want to play?

World of difference between Minecraft, Cities Skylines and something like Fortnite.

He plays Minecraft, Roblox, Undertale, but wanted something that could play universe sandbox and something faster than the Lenovo 3 ideapad that he had a few years ago. I bought the laptop when he was 9. He is nearly 14 so potentially a birthday present plus some he saved from Christmas
