I have one of these and am thinking of replacing it or fixing it (it smokes when I turn it on). What would be more efficient ?

Comments

  • You should have it looked at asap as it should not smoke. If it hasn't been serviced regularly it might need the heat exchanger cleaning. Replacing with a condensing boiler would be more efficient but will cost £1000 to £1500 depending on the boiler and Corgiman you choose.

    Hi

If you are still conscious ,TURN IT OFF AND DO NOT USE IT until a Corgi
    has checked it over.Please.

Questions about cost of boiler replacement appear on this board regularly. can you tell us what your replacement cost is.
About a year ago I had a new Worcester boiler fitted and cost of fitting only (no plumbing, wall fixing or flue work) was £450. Mind you finding someone to do the job is another story.
