I used to have an Alcatel. It was brilliant thing. Used to have currency convertion with very little effort. Then a tiny Samsung flip phone, not quite the smallest made but near to. It was the latest thing and so pretty. I reckon that could pass todayI guess my current one is a dumb phone because I bought it for 3 when it was the cheapest tarrif and now 3g has been turned off it's just calls and texts which gives me a very quiet life

I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

The Doro 6030 Flip phone - a bit overpriced as it's sold as a niche market 'elderly phone' due to how easy it is to use with the big spaced out buttons, emergency call button and flip open to answer etc.0

Nokia. If only new batteries were available!

Nokia 2610 as a birthday present when I finally gave in to the march of technology. Stood me in good stead for over 10 years until the battery failed. I could have replaced the battery (& seriously considered doing so) for a fraction of the price of my first (cheap) android but decided to bite the bullet & go smart. 2 months later when lockdown kicked in, I was glad I had.
Still miss that Nokia though.0 -
